Step 1: Warm-up

    Introduce Michael Jackson's song I'll Be There 老師介紹I'll be there的歌給學生聽, 作為未來式教學的引子, 讓孩子不斷重複聽到看到I''l be there 的歌詞

Step 2: Play the video clips 老師可以挑其中的影片撥給學生看, 並做解釋, 時間允許的話, 可以兩部都撥放

IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE 繪本融入未來式


Step 4-1 Prediction

Before playing the video IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE, ask the students the question.  在播放此繪本影片前, 先讓孩子預測此故事

Then, play the video twice to three times and ask the students write down what the mouse will ask for in the story in sequence.
      播放此故事影片二到三次, 要各組將影片中出現的物品依序寫出, 最後要各組
討論, 讓大家學習單中物品出現的順序一致

Step 4-3 Retell the story 

各組看完故事後, 彼此對完各自寫下物品的順序後, 由組長開始重述故事, If you give a mouse a cookie, 組長右手邊的同學要站起來說He will ask for a glass of milk. If you give a mouse a glass of milk, 第三個同學要根據看完影片後寫下的物品, 站起來依物品出現在故事中的順序說He will ask for ........ If you give a mouse ....., 再換第四個同學接下去說, 以此類推, 把所有物品依序說出後,直到故事結束


Step 4-4 Make a book

    Making a book:請孩子們仿照此繪本作出各組的繪本,各組先把文字部分討論出來後, 再各自回家畫出自己繪本的圖

          上完課本課文後, 課後衍伸活動讓孩子兩人一組, 一個當訪問者, 一個當受訪者(設想自己為一個流行歌手),訪問者要問四個問題, 其中的問題必須包括問流行歌手的未來計畫, 並將訪問過程內容都要寫下來, 並繳交訪問內容的錄音檔
